What is honesty? To me honesty is to tell the truth and not to lie to others and be fair. Honesty is a good quality trait for someone to have which tells a lot about their personality. Honesty is a characteristic that I have because of hearing in school about being honest, the experience I had as a child, and most important the example my parents gave me.
There are many factors that led me to develop the characteristics of being honest. One was the influence I had during school. In school they had rules and honesty was one of the most important ones. The rules were really reinforced so in the classrooms there was one poster of the rules and all the students had to know them. I observed how the students would be honest to the teachers and they were more willing to help them out. I also observed that when a student would lie to a teacher; they would get in more trouble then what they were already in. For example when I was in gym class we had to put on our gym clothes or we would get point off. One day I forgot, but my clothes were the same color of the gym clothes and my teacher...
